The following is a re-typed copy of the Order of the Georgia Supreme Court:
Supreme Court of Georgia
Case No. S01A1424
Atlanta July 16, 2001
The Honorable Supreme Court met pursuant to adjournment.
The following order was passed:
Marquitta L. Portman v. George H. Kreeger, Judge, et al.
Appellant filed the instant direct appeal seeking review of several orders entered by the trial court in February and March 2001 granting appellees’ motions to dismiss and denying appellant’s motion to disqualify the trial judge. Although appellant seeks to invoke this Court’s constitutional question jurisdiction, there are no constitutional questions presented that have been raised and ruled on by the trial court that would invoke this Court’s jurisdiction. Accordingly, as the appeal only invokes this Court’s jurisdiction over divorce cases, appellant was required to follow the discretionary application procedures of OCGA Sec. 5-6-35 (a) (2). As she failed to do so, her direct appeal hereby is dismissed.
